  14. It's 4 of tbsp, butter.
  15. It's 2 of tbsp, honey.
  16. You need of Pastry cream.
  17. Prepare 250 of grm, Whipping cream(whipped).
  18. Prepare 200 of ml,full cream milk.
  19. You need 2 of tbsp, sugar.
  20. It's 1/2 of cup, Whipping cream.
  21. You need 3 of tbsp, Mango or vanilla custard.

This Bienenstich recipe is my quick version of my Mutti's traditional German Bee Sting Cake with its sweet, chewy, and nutty topping and creamy filling.   2. Take another bowl and add plain flour and instant yeast and combine well. Then add eggs and butter mixture in it.. Bee sting cake (German pastry)

  3. And mix gently.(add 3tbsp plain flour if mixture feels sticky.) rest the dough for an hour for proofing.. Bee sting cake (German pastry)

  4. Once, dough rise and Duble in size transfer into a greased cake pan (10 inches round cake pan). Bee sting cake (German pastry)

  5. (for honey almond toping) Now, take a pan, add sugar, milk, butter and honey and cook on high heat until boiling. And mixture becomes little thicker. Turn off the flame.. Bee sting cake (German pastry)

  6. Remove the pan from stove stir for a minute then add almond slices and give a mix. Now pour the mixture on top of cake dough and bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. (180c temperature). Once cake is cooked completely and nice golden on top remove from oven and cool completely then cut.. Bee sting cake (German pastry)

  7. (For cream) take a bowl, add milk, sugar and custard powder and combine well. Then cook on medium high heat until becomes thick. Once thick turn off the flame and add cream and mix well. Cool completely.. Bee sting cake (German pastry)

  8. Once custard cool completely give a mix with fock or hand beater. Take a bowl, add whipped cream and beaten custard and mix well.. Bee sting cake (German pastry)

  9. Cut the cake in two slices, spread pastry cream evenly and cover with top cake slice.. Bee sting cake (German pastry)

The reason it is called Bee Sting Cake is because honey is a traditional ingredient in the almond glaze. My absolute favorite German pastry of all time! A friend of mine in the states recently asked for this recipe so I thought I would post my Americanized version here. Careful not to bake the cake too long.
